It could be really life-changing!
Help us build new training materials and resources
Help us from the comfort of your own home
We are always looking to develop new teaching materials, not just for our own volunteers to use on their placements but also so that we can make them available to other BME courses in Low Resource Countries which need such resources. This can involve either developing resources yourself, or helping us to complete resources already underway.

Help us spread the word
Part of the reason for the lack of Biomedical Engineers in many Low Resource countries is simply that most organisations and decision makers don't know what they do! This is also true of most donors and funding organisations. We try to take every opportunity to educate and inform so that Biomedical Engineering gets the recognition and resources that it needs in order to effectively support health care delivery in these settings.
Other ways to help
Are you a manufacturer or supplier of medical equipment?
Overseas medical engineers struggle to find old manuals for donated equipment; if you can help by making these available we can post them onto our website so that overseas engineers can access them. You can also donate spares, test equipment or expertise… or, of course, money!
Do you work in a hospital EBME workshop?
Do you have spares or manuals for old equipment cluttering up your shelves? - if so please contact us and we will collect them at your convenience.
